HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Ragu alla Bolognese

 

Hob

Use scissors to cut open the top of the Ragu pouch and tip the entire contents into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot.

 

Microwave

Open the pack and tip the contents into a microwave safe bowl and cover. 

Heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then heat again for 1 minute.  Allow to stand for 1 minute before using.

 

Pasta

Put a large pan of water on a high heat and bring to the boil.

Add salt to your preference.

Carefully add the pasta and cook for 9-10 minutes.

Drain leaving a little of the pasta water to add to your sauce.

Tip all the pasta back into the saucepan and mix together with your sauce.

Serve with grated parmesan.
 

Pomodoro

 

Hob

Use scissors to cut open the top of the Pomodoro pouch and tip the entire contents into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot.

 

Microwave

Open the pack and tip the contents into a microwave safe bowl and cover. 

Heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then heat again for 1 minute.  Allow to stand for 1 minute before using.

Crab, Chili & Tomato

 

Hob
Use scissors to cut open the top of the Tomato, Garlic and Chilli pouch and tip into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot.

Just before serving add in your fresh crab and stir.

 

Microwave

Open the tomato, chilli and garlic pouch and tip the contents into a microwave safe bowl and cover.  Heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then add the crab and heat for 30 seconds.  Allow to stand for 1 minute before using.

 

Pasta

Put a large pan of water on a high heat and bring to the boil.

Add salt to your preference.

Carefully add the pasta pasta and cook for 9-10 minutes.

Drain leaving a little of the pasta water to add to your sauce.

Tip all the pasta back into the saucepan and mix together with your sauce.

Finish with chopped fresh parsley (we have not provided this, it is a serving suggestion)



 

Fresh pesto

 

This is not to be heated!

 

Pasta

Put a large pan of water on a high heat and bring to the boil.

Add salt to your preference.

Carefully add the pasta and cook for 9-10 minutes.

Drain leaving a little of the pasta water to add to your sauce.

Cut open the Pesto Sauce pouch

Tip all the pasta back into the saucepan and mix together with your fresh pesto.

Serve with grated parmesan.



 

Kerala Meen Curry {Chicken, Fish and Vegetable}

 

Hob
Use scissors to carefully cut open the top of the curry pouch and tip the entire contents into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot and serve straight away.

 

Microwave

Tip the contents of the pack into a microwave safe bowl, cover and heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then heat for another 2 minutes.  allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.

 

Oven

Preheat to 180

Place the contents in an oven proof dish, cover and place in the centre of the oven for 35 mins or until piping hot.
 

 

 

Wild Venison Ragu

 

Hob
Use scissors to carefully cut open the top of the Venison Ragu pouch and tip into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot and serve straight away.

Tip the contents of the pack into a microwave safe bowl, cover and heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then heat for another 2 minutes.  Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Honey and Lime Sticky Pork

 

Hob
Use scissors to carefully cut open the top of the Sticky Pork Pouch and tip into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot and serve straight away.

Tip the contents of the pack into a microwave bowl, cover and heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then heat for another 2 minutes.  Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.

 

Oven

Preheat to 180

Place the contents in an oven proof dish, cover and place in the centre of the oven for 35 mins or until piping hot.
 

 

 

Truffled Macaroni Cheese

 

Oven
Preheat the oven to 180

Use scissors to cut open the top of the Macaroni Cheese pouch. 

Spread into an oven proof dish and top with extra cheese.

Place in the centre of the oven for 35-40 mins until piping hot and brown on top.

 

Microwave

Empty contents of the Macaroni Cheese pouch into a microwave safe bowl and cover.

Heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and heat again for a further 2 minutes. 

Allow to stand for 1 minute before using.


 

Roasted Squash Tagine

 

Hob
Use scissors to carefully cut open the top of the Roasted Squash Tagine pouch and tip into a saucepan.

Heat gently and stir lots until piping hot and serve straight away.

 

Microwave

Tip the contents of the pack into a microwave bowl, cover and heat on full power for 2 minutes, stir and then heat for another 2 minutes.  Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.

 

Oven

Preheat to 180

Place the contents in an oven proof dish, cover and place in the centre of the oven for 35 mins or until piping hot.

 

Harbour Café Fish Soup

 

Hob
Use scissors to carefully cut open the top of the Fish Soup pouch and tip into a saucepan.

Heat gently until piping hot, stirring occasionally.   

Serve alongside the Rouille.

Sticky Toffee Pudding and Caramel Sauce

 

Oven

Preheat to 150

Open the pouch and place the puddings on an ovenproof dish, cover with foil.

Place in the centre of the oven for 20-25 mins. 

Then remove the foil and pour the sauce over the pudding and return to the oven for 10 mins or so until the sauce is hot.

Rest for 5 mins before serving.

 

Microwave

Place the puddings in a microwave proof dish and cover.

Heat on full power for 2 minutes, then tip the contents of the sauce pouch over the cake and heat for a further 1 minute.

Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Serve cold

Serve cold

 

Saffron Poached Pears

 

Either serve cold OR

 

Hob

Use scissors to carefully cut open the top of the poached pear pouch and tip the entire contents (including the poaching liquid) into a saucepan.

Heat gently and stir lots until piping hot.

 

To serve

Spoon some of the room temperature chocolate sauce onto a plate and sit a pear on top. 

Drizzle some of the poaching liquid over the pear to finish.

 

Top tip

If you have time reduce (slowly cook) the poaching liquid to a syrup and then you can drizzle this over the top – it will concentrate the flavour of the pudding.
